I am in favor of a reduction of Vermilion Snapper for Commercial fisherman and eliminating the closed season for recreational fisherman. Vermilions are still plentiful enough to make or break a day of fishing to catch a couple of meals for your family. The present day closed season in conjunction with all of the other closed seasons or reduced take of other species often leaves no bottom species available for the average "Joe" to fish for. The elimination of the closed season for Vermilions will make a lot of recreational anglers happy while not reducing the overall catch numbers due to the commercial reduction. Thank you
