As a social scientist, I am concerned with the lack of clarity pertaining to socio-economic impact assessments and the spiraling effects these measures will have, not only on the identified business groups, but on related stakeholder business operations within the fishing community; impacts on social organizations need to be clearly assessed as well. The socio-economic assessments need to be part of the main document so they can be appreciated and examined--not on links that may or may not always be technologically available to the public.
