I believe NOAA's research and subsequent rules are far off base. In the last three years we have seen more and larger red snapper than in the last 15 years. They have been so thick that it is hard to avoid them and catch other fish. I personally believe the season should be lengthened to at least 90 days in all Gulf Waters. I have very little confidence that the NOAA data used to make decisions is sound. I also believe the over abundance of red snapper has hurt the other reef species. Make the season longer!!!!!
