Thanks for managing the fishery to the point that overfishing has ended, Your plan for the new season will continue with essentially the same philosophy you've used for decades - splitting the TAC between a few commercial interests and thousands of recreational fishermen. Why not manage the fishery the way wildlife & many freshwater fish are managed? If the fish is so scarce that it needs to be managed then why is there a commercial season? I don't hunt, but love to eat venison - can i go to the wildlife market to buy venison..? Thanks, Randy Sharp
