To single out spearfishing as the only gear to be banned on Greys reef is unjust. Spearfishing is the most responsible form of harvest. There is not any bycatch. Any spearfisherman that is respectable will agree that conservation is the only way to keep our fisheries healthy. Just as there are a few law breaking hook and line fisherman there will be divers that engage in criminal behavior. Instead of banning methods of harvest enforcement should be stepped up to keep all illegal behavior out of our waters. thank you, capt. ben bateman
