I agree with this proposition; I think it is completely necessary to institute regulations regarding fish sanctuaries. Fish are an extremely vaulable capita to the United States, California particularly. Rather than exploit them for profit, I think it is in the country's best interest to preserve these particular native populations. I know that a lot of people are hesitant about introducing new species because there is potential for disaster, and I also appreciate that man shouldn't interfere with the natural pattern of a community. But because this is a human- based issue, there should be a human-based solution. If these introduced species distract from those endangered ones, ultimately its better for all parties involved. I just hope that government takes extensive measures to evaluate their choice in the matter of what species they introduce.
