I am in opposition to this rule on Aunuu closure for the following reasons. 1. there is no reason to close this area off - the reef is too deep and rough for research. 2. this is a prime fishing area for the indegenous people and you will be depriving them of their livelihood. 3. near shore fishing areas are important as it does not require fishermen to endanger their lives to go off shore to farther reaches to fish. 4. closing these areas to fishing will deprive the eastern district folks, using the Eastern boat ramp (only one exists) from fishing a prime fishing area.
