Taken over the phone by Stephanie Gandulla My view is what you’ve done has tremendous value. I mean it’s a gift to our children. It really is. It’s tremendous the way you do it. Set up in a very nice park area, which is probably one of the nicest things about Alpena. However my concern with this proposed expansion is that we’re going to dilute the financial aid that’s available to support this institution and further this particular thing. Were it more publicized it would be advantageous to Alpena financially. You’ve got a showplace there, absolutely. Changing exhibits are tremendous. My family and I have enjoyed many times…. anyone who doesn’t is missing something! I don’t think it should be diluted to having facilities in other towns. These are tough economic times -- these other counties are going to see Alpena getting this and they want some. I think what we need to do is concentrate it on making this facility the top going toe nation which I think it already is. One thing you could do is probably encourage the schools to work with you because many of these children don’t have any idea that these counties have maritime heritage. Alpena has very few candles and this is definitely one! If we spread it too thin, it will turn out like a cake with no frosting! We’ve got the cake and we’ve got the frosting, let’s keep it here. You can’t get a half bushel out of a bushel. We just literally can’t afford to do that. If we try to then this will get diluted and nobody will have anything. Thank you very much!
