The revisions being suggested by NOOA to expand the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary boundaries is an that is so easy to support. It shows foresight, vision, and belief in both the future, and our capacity as humans to affect positive change. California needs to maintain its place on the international scene as a model balancing sustainability, intelligent growth, innovation and environmental stewardship and pushing them to new levels. Expanding the marine sanctuary is one way we can continue forward on this positive trajectory, securing healthy shorelines for generations to come.
