I believe that guided snowmobiles tours should be allowed in the park. The allotted numbers of daily sleds into the park have already been decreased and there is not a need to decrease more or remove completely. While I understand the need to preserve the park and that there are other options for people to get into the park during the winter season (snowcoach....snowshoe..etc), how can anyone target specifically the need to not allow snowmobiles? Do you really think that this period of short winter usage of snowmobiles is damaging the park more than the excessive amount of traffic that enters the park during the summer? Here's an idea...close the park to the public in general, summer and winter,if you really want to be fair about things. But don't just target snowmobiles because it may seem like a lesser battle over cars, buses, motorcycles, etc. There's less damage in the winter than the summer. Allow guided snowmobile tours!
