The proposed plan seems a good compromise for winter 2008-2009. Yellowstone visitor access is essential to maintaining support for the National Park System, and winter access to Yellowstone is a unique and beneficial experience. As with any highly attractive resource, access must be regulated, in order to maintain a healthy balance of wildlife, ecosystem, and visitor access to these unique and protected places. I would encourage enacting the plan for only one year, with an option to be renewed for up to three years, subject to revised daily visitor numbers based on continued study. Thank you, Mike Welch
