I support the proposal for Yellowstone National Park to limit snowmobiles in the winter to no more than 330 a day. The impact on wintering animals will be less intrusive and although snowmobiles have been allowed in the Park, I'd like them to be gone forever. The noise and the emissions, even with stricter guidelines, is still too invasive.
I support the new rule that would implement the proposed snowmobile plan. I've enjoyed cross country skiing in Yellowstone in the winter in 20 degrees below zero. It is a magical place in the winter without all the cars and tourists.
