I’m writing on behalf of myself and my wife, Kathy Feeney, to ask that you support the designation of the Hope Camp Trail as a bicycle route (multi-use trail) within Saguaro National Park. It is our understanding that the selected alternative of the 2009 Saguaro National Park Comprehensive Trails Management Plan and Environmental Assessment called for the conversion of the Hope Camp Trail to a multi-use trail, including bicycling. The route is not within potential, proposed, recommended or designated wilderness. We hope that you will move forward with the conversion of the Hope Camp Trail to a multi-use trail, supporting connectivity with the recently-completed AZ Trail.
