I believe that it is prudent and wise to follow the recommendations of NRC-2011-0069-0002. I agree with it because the likelihood of having a significant nuclear problem increases as the nuclear power plants in the United States age. Also, due to newer information we find that placement of nuclear power plants may be more problematic than first thought. And, ultimately, we must acknowledge that human error is a given and we need to have measures in place to compensate for them.
We, as a country, need to take reasonable precautions to safeguard the safety and health of our citizens.
