Please do not outlaw seller funded Down Payment Assistance Programs. Doing so will substantially limit the number of first time home buyers and will hurt the housing market and economy even more. Once the market has sufficiently recovered from the current downturn, then you could phase in a gradual reduction in down payment assistance funds. Thank you.
