Comment on FR Doc # 2012-17623

I think it is wonderful that temporary Firefighters are now getting this benefit. It has been a long time coming. My concern is that not everyone is a firefighter and I do not believe that it is fair that other temporary employees are not getting this same benefit. There are a lot of employees in other departments that work hard and actually go out on fire assignments even though they are not firefighters. It would be a shame for our temporary employees to have to go on some sort of state aid just so they can see a doctor without breaking the bank. So I think it is great for firefighters but what about the rest of the employees that are temporary? They can afford it even less. Just dosen't seem fair!!
