I would like to see the US continue to pursue other options for a source of fuel. I understand that there has been numerous individuals gain wealth from the fossil fuels industry. However, it does NOT have to be that way. Obviously they already have the key to the "energy" market. In other words, they have all the money to support themselves and research alternative fuels. Cleaner fuels. it is an obligation that they owe to the future generations. If the big energy companies started getting more on board with the efficiency, then they have the "deep pockets" in order to maintain their grasp on the energy market. While at the same time, they can be good stewards of the Earth. It will soon no longer be an option, it is just the right thing to do. It will soon no longer be a negotiation. We have to take care of the planet and the resources we have or it will not be here for our children and grandchildren. Even all the money that they energy tycoons can leave to their children will not be enough when the Earth decides that it has had enough.
