The issue this proposed rule attempts to fix is largely imagined. If the rule
was really meant to solve a genuine problem in existence today, the author would
not need to go back to 1947 to find support for his argument for change. I
believe this proposed rule is nothing more than an attempt to further erode the
freedoms granted to the people of the U.S. by the 2nd Amendment of the
Constitution of the United States. Therefore, I am firmly opposed to it being
adopted as an OSHA rule.
