There are other NFPA Documents that might be useful in this field consulting the NFPA in this matter may be a prudent thing to do to make sure nothing is missed. NFPA 1006, NFPA 1951 and NFPA 1999 are a must. There are also two National Certification agencies NPQB and IFSAC that responders can use to receive certification to documents such as NFPA 1006 or any other Professional Qualifications document.
