Dear Sir/Dear Madam:
I am writing on behalf of the National Paint and Coatings Association (NPCA/FSCT), a voluntary, nonprofit trade association working to advance the needs of the paint and coatings industry and the professionals who work in it. The organization represents paint and coatings manufacturers, raw materials suppliers, distributors, and technical professionals. NPCA/FSCT serves as an advocate and ally for members on legislative, regulatory and judicial issues, and provides forums for the advancement and promotion of the industry through educational and professional development services.
NPCA/FSCT respectfully requests a 60-day extension of the comment submission deadline for the proposed rule. The current deadline is January 19th, and due to the holiday season, it will be very difficult to get comments from a majority of our members. The issue of combustible dust is of great importance to our industry, so we want to make sure we get as much input from our members as possible.
Thank you in advance for consideration of our request.
Sincerely,
Stacey-Ann M. Taylor, Esq.
