The proposed rule to add amputations require 24 hour notification to OSHA - "Amputation" needs to be clarified as to what constitutes an amputation - such as will it be strictly by the Doctor's note stating amputation or will this include finger tips that are nipped (which may or may be written as an amputation) - obviously the loss of an entire finger, hand , arm, toe, foot, leg, paritial leg, partial arm, head would definitely be understood as a qualifying amputation - would a finger tip removed not past the last knuckle be considered an amputation?
