This is comment on Proposed Rule

Occupational Injury and Illness Recording and Reporting Requirements: NAICS Update and Reporting Revisions. Action: Proposed rule.

I would recommend the proposed rule reuire reporting when the following occurs, which is compatable with state laws and more indictative of a serious injury: "inpatient hospitalization for a period in excess of 24 hours for other than medical observation" . The term "in-patient hospitalizations" is vague and can occur for a non-serious/minor.
