The proposed rule reaches too far outside of the bounds of privacy rights of employee injury and illnesses. This new proposed rule, being for statistic reasons only, is not appropriate for private entities or employees. The existing rule is, in itself, somewhat already outside of the bounds of privacy rights between employers and employees. It would not be prudent to broadcast such information so readily and easily. The proposed rule should not be finalized and the current reporting format should remain in place.
