Companies like our's who are foreign owned will probably be moved out of the U.S. if this is allowed to be enforced. We are a small company struggling to survive in this economy and I honestly believe this put us out of business, as I said we are owned by China and they would not absorb the cost to bring a small manufacturing firm like us into compliance.
Another issue is the actual feasibility of engineering out noise on older manufacturing equipment such as ours. We have many pieces of equipment that it would be impossible or extremely expensive to engineer out the sound.
When is our government going to stop forcing businesses out of the United States?
