I am against the proposed changes in "Excess Spoil, Coal Mine Waste, and Buffers
for Waters of the United States". As a life long camper and scientist, I can
not believe how irresponsibly the Department of the Interior is acting by
conceding basic environmental governance to mine operators. The Department of
the Interior is supposed to have the best interests of Americans at heart- to
govern and regulate polluting industries to safeguard our natural resources.
While economic growth is an admirable goal, careful review of the proposed
changes in "Excess Spoil, Coal Mine Waste, and Buffers for Waters of the United
States" disgust me.
Thank you.
