I do not agree with the provisions restricting lithium-ion batteries in checked luggage, or the additional packaging requirements for lithium-ion batteries traveling by air. Enacting these regulations would be a significant detriment to the economic viability of electronic production and shipment. Additionally, there has been very little evidence of actual danger of lithium-ion based incidents in the past decade.
