This is an excellent rule change that will simplify the qualification process and enhance access to the GRH program. It will be particularly beneficial to young couples who have yet to start a family. This rule change will increase the pool of eligible applicants among this group, many of whom will have better credit profiles and higher future earnings potential than the typical GRH applicant. This should improve the loss rate of the program, thus providing a benefit to all stakeholders in the GRH program.
