I feel that the Nationwide Differential Global Positioning System program should continue. Given the increasing importance of data gathering for the ever expanding GIS layers, especially for emergency response situations, accurate data is a must. Without the availability of DGPS this accuracy will be significantly diminished. When such a good tool is already in existence, I cannot see the wisdom in discontinuing it.
