We have received federal assistance before for energy. The stimulus (ARRA) funds, for example, were overly cumbersome to report and monitor. Make it simple! For the $155,000 we received in stimulus funds, I'm sure the government spent equal to that to audit and monitor, plus all the time we spent to report.It was a waste of money all around.We may be interested in participating in this program, but not if the bureacracy is burdensome. It makes those energy savings way more costly than calculated.
