I have read the proposed increase in size standards for the Accommodation Industry. An increase in the ceiling from $7M to $30M would be of enormous benefit to hoteliers and the federal government. Too often a request for a conference is issued as a Set-Aside for Small Businesses only, and there simply are too few conference hotels throughout the country with annual revenues which qualify them as Small Businesses. The bidding process is severely hindered and therefore competition for federal business is almost nil. I am a strong advocate for the proposed increase in size standards.
