I have reviewed the proposed change in size limit for landscape architecture firms from the current $7,500,000 to the $19,000,000.
At the proposed $19,000,000 only 1% of the landscape architecture firms would qualify as small, thus effectively eliminating the small business category for landscape architects.
While the administration may find efficiencies in doing this it seems to run counter to the reasons to create a small business category.
Please reconsider the increase. $7,500,000 translates to a 40 to 50 person firm, which in our profession is medium to large. Please keep it at $7,500,000.
