Whenever a section refers to primary immune deficiencies and examples are given, the word "agammaglobulinemia" appears. This is also known as hypogammaglobulinemia and more recently as Common Variable Immunodeficieny Disorder (CVID). I think it would be less confusing and more helpful to refer to this specific immune disorder as CVID as identified by the Immune Deficiency Foundation.
