Commenting on quicker disability determination As a recent disabled applicant with Multiple Myloma Cancer I have been very frustrated with the lack of compassion or concern I have felt from each area of my application. I have been in bed since 09-21-06 and still as of of 07-21-07 have not been able to get certified disabled. Will I be dead before they say I am,will I even know if I was finally accepted.If it were not for the gift of having a family that cares and haves the ability to help I would be living in a cardboard box in some alley by now. I was a very successful businssman untill 9-11 wiped out the high end construction market in Colorado and I lost everything very quickly. I have been made to feel during this process that I am less than a desirable AMERICAN because now I have nothing and and I am now asking for my governments help. If there was any other way for me to get by trust me I would before I would subject myself or anyone else to this waiting and waiting with no answers.
