Parent-to-Child Deeming From Stepparents

I think that the rule is fair as the non-custodial step-parent is not legally required to care for this child. This will afford the child monies that are needed for his/her care. With this new rule, the hopes are that the non-custodial step-parent will take responsibility for the abandoned child and care for them. The other hope is that there will be one less child in a state home or foster agencies.
