Please consider those who are being diagnosed with young onset parkinsons.
They are not at rtetirement age, probably have not put away the necessary funds
to liive on yet, are still supporting their families, and are sometimes told when
they apply for disability that they are too young to be disabled by parkinson's. I
can tell you from experience age has nothing to do with it. It seems that if you
are already at retirement age, there is no question of being disabled by
parkinsons. If you are younger, you have to spend any funds you have to fight the
system that is supposed to be there for you. Ironically, young onset is far more
devasting and the rate of dibilataton is more rapid. That would seem to indicate
that age is a factor with those who are making the determinations. Is that true?
