I was just informed of this rule change by a friend and have not received any prior notice that this rule would take effect today. I have submitted my application shortly after my 62nd birthday under the impression that although I could receive benefits because I am still working full time I have not received any payments and thought I wouldn't until age 66. I was under the impression that all of my credits while I'm still working are applied toward the benefit that I will receive in the future. I was about to submit a withdrawal of my application and resubmit it when I reach age 66 but now according to the rule change I'm not allowed. This is wrong as I was not previously notified and since I have not received any payments I should be allowed to withdraw. Michael J. Welsh
