If you are serious about providing the kind of world class service that you describe in your SDP then I wish you would reconsider your policy of blocking access to your web site for people living overseas.
This is probably one of the most redulous things I have run across in the Federal Government.
Hacking is a global phenomenon. Geography play little or no part Your site is just as likely to get hacked from Hoboken as it is from China or the Philippines. So why are we singled out to be blocked. Makes no sense.
It's a tremendous inconvenience using Snail Mail for transactions is soo very inefficient and there is really no reason to have to do that.
I am no lawyer but I suspect this would be a violation of ADA if anyone had the time and resources to challange it which I don't.
I deal with DFAS, DVA and a few other agencies and they have no restrictions on overseas users with full online access so why SSA
Please reconsider this silly policy.
