I would like to thank you for the opportunity to share my views and suggestions. I am a victim of Identity theft; I take confidentiality ,and privacy seriously. The ireparable harm I have endured could have been largely decreased by being given the oportunity to do just as I am now; speak and write it on my own, which also holds me accountable. There is a breakdown within so many state, local, and Government agencies that causes finger pointing, poor quality of care, unethical business practices simply because the receivers of such critical and vital personal information are making themselves liable and not appreciating the importance of thorough, accurate, data collection and data entry; including the handling, and processing for coordination of professional management and review; and in a much quicker time frame; you will then see quicker recovery and quality of life for people who have the future ability to return to work; delaying repair, and recovery of anything, let alone individuals in need runs the risk of dependency medically, financially, and poses further economic risks. An automated phone system is used to decrease wait times, and allows for improvement of accuracy; BUT, it must be tested to ensure proper routing of calls and not cause further stress and work for everyone. The alternate facilities used for check disbursement, processing, and management; need to avoid "too many hands in the cookie jar"; Using third party companies for service or information changes should not be allowed. changes or access to private data needs to be narrowed down to a select group who have shown their ability an respect of this information. When there is nothing for a third party to get access to they can't easily do those terrible things that are done like forgery, fske items, and so on. I would feel safer passing my information to the SSA or any Dept. I know that has a truly high regard of me and my private data, regardless of all other issues. Respectfully, CP
