I oppose AIT technology for passenger screening. I have stopped flying anywhere that requires TSA screening due to my refusal to submit to this ineffective technology. It has a 54% false alarm rate. This leads to more sexually assaultive "pat downs" involving TSA screeners putting their hands all over the bodies of passengers, with no qualifications whatsoever to touch people that way, especially people with medical and health conditions. The machines are invasive, ineffective, wasteful and unnecessary. Anyone can smuggle weapons onto a plane using body cavities, not to mention the other ways that have been proven to defeat these useless machines, so we are giving up our rights to be free from unreasonable search and seizure for no benefit anyway. The TSA should be abolished immediately. Their track record of lying about these machines, bumbling around with one wasteful and ineffective technology after another, stealing/vandalizing our property in checked bags, failing to process theft/damage claims, denying their own violations of their own rules, sexually harassing passengers, dressing up in fake cop uniforms and calling themselves "officers" (HAH!), hiding behind the ruse of "secret security information", refusing to show up for Congressional hearings, and refusing to follow this public comment process until repeatedly ordered to do so by the courts, gives them ZERO credibility. I would not trust them to do anything, and do not believe a word they say.
