I endorse fully the adoption of this proposed AVA. I have farmed this area for over 15 years, lived here over 20. The elevation and steep togography are challenging, and often trying, but render unique flavors, color and intensity of wine grapes, which produce ultra preimium wine.
The mountainous area is above the frost and fog, drenched in sunlight, and overlooks the Russian River some 2000 feet below.
This is truly a unique area well qualified to become an approved AVA.
