This comment is in reference to Notice No. 105 Proposed Establishment of the Pine Mountain-Mayacmas Viticultural Area. It is with great pleasure that I support the establishment of the Pine Mountain-Mayacmas AVA. I am an avid wine enthusiast and often travel up highway 101 to visit wineries in both Alexander Valley and Dry Creek like Amphora. I have been fortunate to visit the vineyards on PineMountain. Looking down at the Alexander Valley floor, it is quite clear that Pine Mountain is a unique environment for grape-growing with their rocky red soils, high elevations, and south-western exposures. I greatly look forward, in the near future, to being able to drink a glass of a Bordeaux blend with a Pine Mountain - Mayacmas label on it. Sincerely, AARON WEINSTOCK
