We support changes to the current laws that will allow us to indicate multiple vintages that were used in blending wine. This will allow, as is the case with multiple varietals, indication on the labels of the percentage of each vintage used. We agree that the use of different vintages, with same varietal (or not), help to ensure better consistency and value to the customer. This is not a new practice, but the current law does not allow us to state the facts on the labels. We herewith request that such changes to the laws be considered in order that multiple vintages may be indicated on the packaging.
