By choosing the current definition for this proposed viticulutral area it creates a western boundary (aproximently 3 miles wide) between the proposed new area and the the exisiting Shenandoah viticultural. Since the soil characteristics and growing condiditons are the same, it is my suggestion to exend the western boundary the meet at the crest of the Blue ridge mountains to the wes. If the current definition remains then there will be a 3 mile gap betwen the 2 areas. I have completed the contact information and will be happy to disucss this issue further with others.
