I wholeheartedly endorse the idea of establishing a Ballard Canyon AVA. As a wine lover and a wine industry professional, I have long been aware of this region and its ability to produce extraordinary wines. Within the industry, and among wine enthusiasts, Ballard Canyon is already recognized as a special and distinct winegrowing area. Granting Ballard Canyon AVA status would officially acknowledge, what many people already know.
