screening foreign cargo - it is a crap shoot out there with everything allowed to
enter this country and there is no rigor to the system - no inspection. it all comes
in - the poisonous pet food from china, the leaden toys for our chidlren to play
with - all of the other poisons that we are sent - it all comes into this country with
nobody here knowing what is coming in and nobody really caring.
this proposal does not go nearly far enough. america is virtually bankrupt with its
dollar worth nothing and yet we continue to allow these inadequately safe, in fact
harmful goods to come into our ports every single day. when will this madness
end?
it is time to put muchmore rigor into this system. we want verified names, we want
upfront bank deposits to guarantee the shipment. it is time to make those who
ship in here to make money stand behind what they sendus. it is time to take
product tests before the product ever gets here. send us one. we'll investigate it
and then if it tests ok we will allow a further shipment.
we need to stop letting anonymous profiteers get rich by sending us crap and
garbage fit for garbage dumps or superfund sites. this system has no rigor. go
back to the drawing board and draw one up that will really help america instead of
this hit or miss system.
