I don't think this is really necessary. It will be the same as the information we already provide. More like a repitition. Customs/FDA already has information on the manufacturer via MiD's, they also have seller and buyers address, infact most of this information is on the bill of lading. The only information they don't have is the container stuffing location and the consolidator details. What you are proposing is submitting this informaion prior to the container being filled and then creating a second entry for purposes of clearing five days before the container ETA. I don't that is very efficient. It is creating more work for the brokers.
