My wife and I have lived in Franklin for about 37 years and use the Mores's Line border crossing every time we go to Canada. It would be a huge inconvenience to have to use another crossing station. When we were taking my parents to Canada to go to the dentest we would go out of our way to use Mores's line to avoid the long wait at the Highgate crossing. I think it would be a mistake and huge disservice to the people of Franklin County to close the Mores's Line station. We use it when we go to Montreal, pick strawberries, get apples, go to the wineries, and to tour the unique culture of French Canada. Our community also benefits from the Canadian traffic to our side of the border. There are thousands of Canadian bicyclist that use this station and frequent Vermont, as well as auto tourist. Please do not close Mores's Line Station.
