This is comment on Proposed Rule

Closing of the Port of Whitetail, MT

View Comment

I would be very upset if the port of whitetail were to close. The canadian side has and that has been a huge inconvienience but has not detured us from traveling from the United States instead we make more of a trip of it. Ideally we would like to go down every couple of weeks if we can. When we do we like to visit the local restraunts to support them because we do shop a lot in the US and support the economy. I would have to say that if this border crossing would close I would not make the effort to travel or shop in the US because it would become a huge inconvience to me! If we are to go down we use to make the round trip in 2hrs then the canadian side closed and our trips have turned into 2hr and 45mins and now if whitetail border closes it would turn into 4hr round trip and we just wouldn't bother! I really would be upset if the border crossing closed because I really do find it useful and will continue to support the US economically if it remains open.
