I am very much in favor of the Customs and Border Protection plan to reopen the Boquillas Crossing on the Rio Grande River in Big Bend National Park. Reestablishing this crossing will aid the park in its environmental projects by allowing quick entry and exit across the border, provide a fun venue and cultural exchange for visitors to Big Bend and help the people of Boquillas del Carmen financially -- all without compromising U.S. security. Bravo to the plan to reopen this important bridge between Mexico and the U.S.
