I am very pleased to see that common sense is again creeping into our border policies. I live along the US - Mexico border in the Rio Grande Valley and the differences between this area and the proposed crossing in Boquillas are as stark as the terrain. The benefits to the people on both sides of the river are ordinary to us in the US, extraordinary to the residents of Boquillas. The environmental coorperation is a positive step. I can see no reason to prevent the new crossing from opening. Well there is one, the politics of hysteria and misunderstanding. Please do not allow misinformation to prevent what common sense says is a good thing. Thank you, James Welton Edinburg, TX
